"What
is life? It is the flash of a firefly in the night.
It is the breath of a buffalo in the wintertime.
It is the little shadow which runs across the grass
and loses itself in the sunset."
- Crowfoot, Blackfoot
Warrior and Orator

Brother
Chuck
I have some
distressing news from the Mississippi gathering near Brooklyn. I just
came from there, and things are looking brighter now
with positive energy rolling in everyday. But I am sad to report an incident
that wound up with Brother Chuck fatally beaten by a couple of locals.
May his spirit inhabit the woods eternally. Now, the culprits are in jail
and facing charges. But, as you can imagine, the whole thing has left
many people in fear. However, the kids down there are really pulling things
together and preparing for a great January gathering. KindredSpirit Kitchen
is on the scene and on the ball, keeping everybody fed and happy.

Timothy
Hulsey - "Two-Tokes"
Spending
any amount of time with Timmy, would quickly bring many things to light:
1- That his life, day to day was imbued in magic.
2- That wherever he roamed he was surrounded by people, people there were
attracted and even mesmerized by his loving and caring demeanor.
3- That he brought unity, where there was disjointed chaos and dissension.
4-That he was a teacher and instructor in survival.
5- That he would cast prosperity upon the heads of those in the direst
of
needs.
6- That he was a performer on the grand stage of life, to raise the hopes
of
the people around him.
7- That he loved children and brought to them his most gentle spirit.
8- That to his intimates he could sing the song of restless spirits.
Timmy 2 Tokes, modern day Robin Hood, Longjohn Silver, PiedPiper, Jessie
James and John The Baptist rolled into one. To some of his fellows he
was James Bond.
To some of the women he was too. His charismatic being reached out beyond,
so that the mention of his name would provoke a reaction to those that
had never met him. His magic as legendary as Merlin, none would doubt.
His name spoken among intimates became synonymous with hope. Laughter
was his friend and dashed the sadness away from any who could hear. His
escapades are those of other peoples fantasies. Timmy had fire in his
life! The paradoxes that framed his life now live on in all of us he touched
with his heart.
We love and
miss you Timmy.
